Description
Are you looking for a move-in ready family home in a villa residential area, for less than one million euros? Then read on, because there is a lot to tell you about this GENEROUS VILLA with PRIVATE SWIMMING POOL in La Cala Hills, Mijas Costa, Costa del Sol.
This detached villa is located in one of the nicest, family-friendly suburbs of Fuengirola/Las Lagunas. The area is known for its solid construction quality and exceptionally large rooms. La Cala Hills is a quiet residential area, close to the city and with all basic amenities within easy reach.
Just a 2-minute walk away you will find the international private school St. Anthony's College. Literally around the corner, there are various restaurants, bars/coffee shops, a nursery, the Raquetas de Mijas padel club and 2 supermarkets that are open until late in the evening and at weekends.
The villa is situated on a corner plot with a west-facing orientation. From the swimming pool you have views of the mountains, and from the recently renovated, large terrace you can enjoy the wonderful Costa del Sol sunshine all day long. Surrounding the house is a beautifully maintained lawn with a computer-controlled irrigation system and 2 lush palm trees. The garden is equipped with an automatic irrigation system. There is space to park a large car in front of the house.
Inside, the property features a spacious entrance hall with storage space under the stairs, a large L-shaped living room with plenty of natural light and a fireplace, and a fully equipped kitchen with a separate utility room. The former carport has been converted into an office/bedroom. If desired, this can be converted back into a garage or carport.
On the first floor, there are three bedrooms. The master bedroom has a large walk-in wardrobe and a private bathroom with a large shower and whirlpool bath. The other two bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and share a bathroom with a shower. All bathrooms have also been recently renovated.
All bedrooms and the living room are equipped with individual air conditioning units providing both hot and cold air. All of them are only a few years old and very energy efficient. Because heating/cooling can be controlled per room, the property can be kept at a comfortable temperature efficiently.
The total built area is 219 m², of which 195 m² is the house and 24 m² is the swimming pool (approx. 6x4 metres).
In addition, 20 solar panels were installed on the roof in 2025, together with an electric car charger and a 14.3 kWh home battery. This increased the energy rating to class B. In 2026, the garden wall was completely renovated and painted. The same applies to the gate. In recent years, the swimming pool installations have also been replaced and a new motor has been installed for the gate.
The villa stands on its own 515 m² plot with full ownership, which forms part of a mancomunidad. The mancomunidad takes care of cleaning the streets and maintaining the large playground in the area. For this, you pay only €25.97 per quarter. The property has its own entrance and stands on its own plot. The property also has an LPO (Licencia de Primera Ocupación). Short-term and long-term rentals are therefore no problem.
The property is sold partly furnished.
